Polar Picture: Arctic Skuas

This picture shows two Arctic Skuas against the haze of a beautiful warm day. They did not attack us, although some other unfortunately did. Those birds are confusing: if you come too close to their nest, they start flying around you, but it will absolutely not become clear where their nest actually is. Well, everyone their own tactic.
